Where Water Met Earth
Despite of the harsh natural condition along the Sistan & Baluchestan coastline, the natural beauty of the region can not be expressed by words. I took this picture when I visited the Gouader Gulf (the southeastern most part of Iran), where the dark blue water of the Indian Ocean meets the ochre sand of the Gouader coast. It is a simple close shot of the eroded sandstone (1.5¢x 1.5¢) with the sea in the back.بر خلاف شرايط محيطي بسيار سخت استان سيستان و بلوچستان در كنار محروميت‌هاي اقتصادي و اجتماعي، زيباييهاي طبيعي اين استان در قالب نوشته نمي‌گنجد. اين عكس رو در خليج گواتر (منتهي‌عليه جنوب‌شرقي كشور) گرفتم، جاييكه آبي اقيانوس هند، اخراي ماسه‌هاي ساحل گواتر رو ملاقات ميكنه. تصوير نماي نزديك و بسته ماسه‌سنك فرسايش يافته ساحل با پس زمينه درياست

Only an Iranian knows the value of any photo from Sistan. The part of the country that you have been to is off limit to outsiders. Local warlords and the drug trafficing make it extremely dangerous for any one to cross through, let alone take pictures or roam the terrain. A pacth of heaven for geologists and photographers alike as they say but it sure doesn't come cheap, sometimes demanding your life for the price.
Really a wonderful image you have shown us here.
Excellent use of lighting, wonderful color, but it is the composition that sets this one apart with its three distinct divided elements, giving the viewer plenty to study and to appreciate fully!

سلام
تازه وبلاگت رو کشف کردم.از روی لینکی که نیک آهنگ گذاشته بود. خوشحالم که هنرت رو اینجا برای تماشا گذاشتی. به نظر میاد بچه های زمین شناسی دانشکده علوم دارن دنیا را یواش یواش و بی سر و صدا فتح میکنن !! نه تنها دنیای واقعی بلکه کم کم دنیای مجازی هم همینطور ! از شهمیرزاد تا نیواورلیان و عسلویه و فرانسه و لس آنجلس تا ژاپن و شلومبرژه و کلابهای شبانه ارمنستان !
